country music & rodeo lover + outdoor enthusiast +

palette knife painter + volunteer + mother and wife

I am palette knife painter and outdoor enthusiast living just south of Red Lodge, Montana with my long hair dachshund, Reese. After being widely exhibited in Midwest galleries and shows, I traveled the southwest rivers of Montana seeking the perfect new home/studio.

Now while painting in my studio nestled in the Beartooth Mountains above the roaring Rock Creek, I am mesmerized by the thundering creek’s voice and the beauty of the green velvet mountains.

Since 2001 my art has transformed from still-lives and urban landscapes to its current rodeo and wild animal images. Painting brings great meaning to my life and offers me a place to meditate on the beauty in the world. My goal is to convey a path of discovery for the viewers - reimaging the world’s colors and light patterns. My rich layering of my paint leaves a history of strokes that slowly create images for others to realize.
